Intramurals: Freeagent Registration Info

Don’t have a team? No worries! For team sports, we provide individuals an opportunity to add themselves to a free agent list. Before you can add yourself to the free agent list, you must create an IMOnline account. If you have already created an account, skip the “Account Registration” section.

Account Registration

Instructions for creating your account (Students Only):

Go to http://tennessee.imtrackonline.com/
Click on the “Sign Up” link
Enter the information requested using the following guidelines

User Name: create a user name
Password: create a password and confirm
Participant Number: this is your NETID, which is normally the “name” part of your UT e-mail address, (Not your student ID number)
First Name: Enter your first name as it appears on file with the VolCard Office
Middle Initial: Enter your middle initial
Last Name: Enter your last name as it appears on file with the VolCard Office
Email Address: Enter your e-mail address and confirm
Phone Number: Enter a contact number for our records

Click the “Sign Up” button

*If the following error message appears, MEMBER IS NOT IN DATABASE, please check your information for accuracy and verify that you are eligible to participate in Intramural Sports according to the eligibility requirements outlined in the Intramural Handbook. If you cannot resolve the problem, please contact our office for assistance either by phone, in person, or by e-mail.

You have now successfully created an account

Faculty and staff members will be unable to create an account in the system. Faculty and staff members should contact the Intramural Office to acquire access to an IMOnline account. We strongly advise faculty and staff members to contact us before the registration period begins.

Free Agent Registration

Please follow the below instructions to sign up as a free agent for a sport.

Login to IMOnline
Click on the “Free Agency” link under the IMOnline User Links section, which is located on the right portion of the website
Under the section titled “Sports Open for Free Agent Sign Ups”, click the “Set Free Agent Status” icon [ ]
Select one of the three options, enter additional comments, and then select the “add free agent request” button.

Option 1: Mark me as free agent for all leagues and divisions on this sport

Option 2: Mark me as free agent for all divisions of the following league(s)

Option 3: Mark me as free agent for all divisions of the following day of play(s)

Accepting an Invitation

Login to IMOnline
Click on the “Free Agency” link under the IMOnline User Links section, which is located on the right portion of the website
Should there be any active invitations on this screen, click on the “Accept” button to join the team or “Decline” button if you would not like to join that team
The captain of the team will automatically receive an e-mail with your decision.

Need a Free Agent?

Follow the below instructions to view the free agents list for a sport.

Login to IMOnline
Click on the “My Teams” link under the IMOnline User Links section, which is located on the right portion of the website
Select the “Find Free Agents” icon [ ]
Once you have found an individual, click the “invite free agent” icon [ ] to invite the free agent to join your team
An e-mail will be sent automatically to the free agent
Once the free agent has accepted the invitation, he or she will automatically be added to your roster
