The Outdoor Program offers a multitude of outdoor adventures and programs for all abilities and experience levels. If you have ever wanted to learn how to whitewater kayak or just wanted to go on a hike, UTOP has something for everyone.

All programs are led by trained staff members who are excited to share their passion for the outdoors with others. Being safe and having fun are of utmost importance to the UTOP staff. Check-out the many ways you can experience the outdoors through UTOP.

In order to participate in any UTOP trips, all participants must complete: Trip Agreement Form, Waiver Form, and Medical History Form.

Save time by downloading the required forms below and bring them completed to the Outdoor Center when you sign-up for a trip.

• All trip costs include transportation, in-camp food, group equipment, camping, and other miscellaneous fees.
• Trips are open to all current UT students, faculty, and staff.
• All participants must have health insurance in order to participate.
• Some personal gear may be rented through UTOP. Call 974-9749 or stop by the Outdoor Center during rental hours.
• To sign-up for a trip, you must come to the Outdoor Center and pay for the full cost of the trip (unless otherwise noted). Payment can be made via cash, or check.
