A group of 10 hang out couches of the Outdoor Center, chatting loudly about mountain bikes, weekend plans while the last people get their bike tires aired up and chain lubed. The energy and eagerness to hit #SoKno trails are high.
Not till you stop do you realize how high you’ve ridden and see the view overlooking K-town to the north and Smokies to the south. ‘I did it!’ you think, smiling. Other group members start appearing around the turn that leads to the hill’s top. You cheer them on, giving them a high five as they reach you. This is your first mountain bike ride and you at stoked!
