Registration Deadline:  Fri. Aug 25

Paddle, float, and relax on Knoxville’s famous river

Now is the perfect time to try kayaking, just yourself and your new friends.

The amount of instruction that we received from instructors was great! I was very confident in the instructors’ abilities and felt like I was taught the kayaking basics well enough to succeed on the river.

Starting at Sequoyah Hills Park, you slowly paddle the Tennessee River. To your left, across the river rise 80 foot high bluffs and to your right, the beautiful homes of Sequoyah Hills. The afternoon breeze and the refreshing waters of the Tennessee keep you and the Blue Heron cool on this hot August afternoon.

Discover the hidden coves and secret spots along the river while making some new friends along the way – who also love the outdoors like you..

Your you get wet at some point learning to kayak.

If you’ve never paddled outside, we’ll teach you how to comfortably move around the river and have fun while doing it. By the time the trip ends, you’ll be comfortable on the water and look good paddling.

You’ll definitely have some awesome photos to share.

Must know how to swim.  No experience required. Beginners welcome!
