Learn to paddle board on Knoxville’s Blueways.
Come learn how to stand up paddle board from our experienced instructors and enjoy an evening guided trip up the Tennessee River.
I liked the fact that even though it was my first time attending a trip [paddleboard trip], the leaders made it easy to learn what to do.
You slowly paddle the Tennessee River next to Sequoyah Hills Park. To your left, across the river rise 80 foot high bluffs and to your right, the beautiful homes of Sequoyah Hills. The afternoon breeze and the refreshing waters of the Tennessee keep you and the Blue Heron cool on this August afternoon.
As a paddle sport, SUP is easy to learn. Discover the sensation of gliding across the top of the water and make some new friends along the way.
This blend of kayaking and surfing is the hottest new sport, and in addition to be a great time is also a great way to get exercise. Why head inside to the gym when you can catch some sun and surf the Tennessee River.
You will get wet while learning to stand up paddleboarding.
