Meet the Instructors

Certification: American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor

Major: Criminal Justice and Political Science

Bio: Hi! I am Carly and I am originally from Colorado, so I love all things outdoorsy which has led me to my job as a lifeguard and swim instructor. I have been teaching swim lessons for a little over five years now! I really enjoy teaching preschool and levels 1 and 2, as I get to introduce a lot of children to the pool and lessons for the first time. I love teaching lessons as I get to share my love for water with people, while also encouraging safety. My overall goals for my students are to love all things water, while also understanding what they need to do to enjoy it safely, and to encourage them to keep progressing with their swimming skills.
