Rocky Top Climbing Competition

UTOP’s annual bouldering competition, Rocky Top Climbing Competition, is back!

Join us for a full day of sends with friends from all over the Southeast. The competition is divided into Men’s and Women’s beginner, intermediate, and advanced divisions, with prizes for winners of each division. Sign up for any heat, win some raffle prizes, and participate in an awesome finals showdown!

UT Students: $10
Non-UT Students: $20

Registration opens Monday, March 2

Advanced registration is open until noon on Friday, March 27. Day-of registration will be available for any open or forfeited spaces beginning 20 minutes before each heat.

Doors Open at 8 a.m.

Heat 1: 8:45 a.m.–10:55 a.m.

Heat 2: 10:45 a.m.–12:55 p.m.

Heat 3: 12:45 p.m.– 2:55 p.m.

Finalists announced and raffle prizes 3 p.m.

Finals and Awards Ceremony 4 p.m.–6 p.m.

What do I do if I am a minor and cannot accept the waiver?

Have your parent or guardian create a profile for themselves on our registration portal.
Once the parent/guardian has made a profile for themselves, have them log into their profile and navigate down to the “Family Member” section, and then “add a family member”.
Have the parent/guardian create a profile for the student as a family member.
With the parent/guardian logged in, navigate to the Ignite Registration page
Click “register” for the session you intend to register for. You should see a pop-up screen that lets you select a family member.
At this point, the parent/guardian would choose the Family Member profile they created for the student and proceed to register. This allows the parent/guardian to accept the waiver on behalf of their student.
